about rc cars, where to buy them , how to drive them properly, and the right ones for you
hello, welome to rccardrivers. this site is here to give you advice on buying selling and drivind your rc car. for example you will find tips and such on accelleration, drifting cornering, etc. |
first off accellerating: this sounds easy, but with a rear wheel drive car its hard. you can easily skid it out of control if you floor it. to solve this, dont ram the gear stick right into the control, ease it upwards untill the wheels just start to loose traction, this way you will obtain maximium accelleration speed. cornering and drifting: to corner properly always slow down a bit before cornering especially with rwd cars. with 4wd cars its easier, yo can enter the corner faster and accellerate in the corner. drifting is different, to drift follow these instuructions: 1. when coming up to the corner wait until the last moment to release the throttle. 2. turn in hard. 3.accellerate hard, max the trottle. 4.obtain a skid or wipeout to start with. 5 . on your 5th attempt try controlling the slide, by turning in the opposite direction slightly. If you have trouble with this dont give up, its worth it. drifting is the ultimate way to show off to your freinds, if you still have trouble, talk to the dealer or a specialist about a set of DRIFTING TYRES. |
off-roading is easy, if you are on loose ground, eg sand, and going up a hill heres what to do: 1. take a run up, get momentum 2.always decellerate whilst going up the hill, this keeps the car from digging a whole in the ground, and getting stuck. going down a hill without getting stuck is the opposite of step 2, always accelerate slightly whilst going down. |
if you are selling at a car boot sale or garage sale, and if your car has had extra parts added and is about 1 year old then you can charge about the same price you payed for it. BUT if it is copletely stock and about 1 year old then sell it for half what you payed for it, even if it is nitrous. if your car is more that 2 years old then sell it for 1 third of the price you payed for it originally. after that your car decreases abot 15- 20 % per year in its price. |
